Voyager Wins Big at the NZ Compare Awards 🎉

Voyager Team celebrating their NZ Compare Award wins
Thursday, 5 March 2026

Voyager was one of the big winners at the NZ Compare Awards in 2025 and as a team we love to get out and about celebrating the best in broadband and so it was our pleasure to personally deliver not one, but two NZ Compare Awards to Voyager Internet last month.

NZ Compare Awards won by Voyager

Voyager have been a long time entrant (and winner) of the NZ Compare Awards and 2025 was no exception.  This year saw Voyager Internet win the following, prestigious awards;

🏆 People’s Choice Award – Broadband
🏆 Best Business Broadband Provider

The NZ Compare team headed over to Voyager’s North Shore headquarters to drop off the trophies in person, congratulate the crew, and take a behind-the-scenes tour of their impressive data centre operations.

Voyager is a local NZ-owned telecommunications company whp provide ultra-fast broadband to homes and businesses across the country.  They are one of New Zealand's fastest growing tech companies.

Four Years of People’s Choice Success

Winning the People’s Choice Award is always special for the company that walks away with the trophy, and that's because it’s voted for by real customers and stakeholders.

2025 marks the fourth consecutive year Voyager has taken out the top spot for broadband, a remarkable achievement that reflects consistent customer satisfaction and loyalty.

When asked how it felt to win the People’s Choice Award for the fourth year in a row, alongside its first Best Business Broadband award, Voyager said:

“Delivering an exceptional customer experience has always been at the heart of Voyager, since the beginning. While that’s what the team strives for every day, it’s still so rewarding to see it reflected in both a public-voted award and a judged award in 2025. This recognition reinforces that we’re focused on the right things and encourages us to keep raising the standard.”

Best Business Broadband Provider - A First

In addition to customer votes, Voyager also impressed our judging panel to win Best Business Broadband Provider for 2025.

For businesses, connectivity is mission-critical - reliability, performance, and responsive support make all the difference. The NZ Compare Award for Best Business Broadband Provider recognises providers that go above and beyond for their business customers.  There was some heavy competition from a range of different providers but Voyager's entry really stood out.

During our visit, we saw firsthand the infrastructure and expertise that underpins Voyager’s business services. Touring the North Shore data centre gave us a deeper appreciation of the technical capability and the technology investment behind the brand - robust network architecture, serious redundancy, and a team that clearly knows its craft.

A Network - and a Team - to Be Proud Of

Voyager CEO Seeby Woodhouse summed it up perfectly:

“We might not be the biggest provider, but we’re proud to have one of the best networks, and an even better team behind it. Our customers value the combination of high-quality connectivity and a team of people who really care, and we’re grateful for every one of them. We’re proud to be their ISP of choice, as without their support and votes, we wouldn’t be in to win these awards.”

That sentiment was clear throughout our visit. The culture is hands-on, customer-first, and proudly independent - a reminder that size isn’t everything in the broadband world.

Celebrating Excellence in NZ Broadband

At NZ Compare, our awards exist to shine a light on providers who are genuinely delivering value, performance, and service to Kiwi households and businesses.

Congratulations again to Voyager on an outstanding achievement - four-time People’s Choice winner and now officially the country’s Best Business Broadband Provider.

Here’s to continuing to raise the bar in 2026 🚀
