Digital technology can make a significant, positive impact on our nation's social and economic wellbeing – enabling stronger, safer, more connected communities (even in the most remote rural areas), opening more opportunities for our children (regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds), and improving health outcomes for New Zealanders of all ages and walks of life.

It can enable Kiwi companies to compete - and win - on the world stage and become smarter, more agile businesses by harnessing all the benefits of new technologies such as Cloud services and the Internet of Things.

Spark's success is dependent on our customers in one key market: New Zealand. That's why we're passionate about using technology to be truly useful to our customers, helping make our country better and enriching the lives of all New Zealanders. We want to be the most valued brand in the home, and the most trusted partner for business.

left them because after i quit sky and started watching netflix my broadband bill doubled and I never realized for over 2 months, never had any calls advising me that I was paying between double to triple what I should be, and suggesting a better plan, as I used to get with the mobile plan. So, after 20 + years with them (mobile, landline, and later on, broadband) I shifted providers. Now paying less than I was on a 120 gig limit plan, and getting unlimited internet.
Pros
good support
Cons
too dear and not interested in matching lower prices

For the past week our internet has been patchy, coming on and off, both on wifi and on the wired connection to the PC. We keep rebooting the modem but it doesn't fix the problem. We have naked broadband, unlimited data and although Spark gave us a good deal (lower than advertised) to keep us as customers, if it doesn't actually do the job then it's not good value.
We can't get hold of anyone at the service centre to help so far. Super frustrating. So we're now shopping for a new internet provider. ...read more
Pros
It was already set up.
Cons
It doesn't work. The wifi is patchy and the service keeps coming on and off, which makes chrome-casting movies and TV shows a frustrating nightmare.
This has now been ongoing for about a week.
